This list is in two parts. At the top, Part 1 gives the name of the patient, date of admission, age, occupation and the name of the person (usually the rector, an employer, landlord or other influential person) who recommended the patient to the Infirmary. Scroll down to find Part 2, which gives the name of the physician who treated the patient, length of illness, the nature of the illness, complaint or accident, date of discharge and condition on discharge. In some cases the information is incomplete due to the inconsistancy of the record-keeping at the Infirmary. Entries for several years are missing because the name of the patient's parish was not included in some of the admission registers.Spellings have been transcribed as they appear in the journals .The periods covered by the volumes are listed below:
