This mid-1920s aerial view of the centre of Burton Latimer gives an idea of the
size of the paddock and gardens at 'The Poplars', the home of Mrs. Anna Maria
Preston. When the survey took place the pigsty was not being used and part of
the paddock and a small field beyond it had been ploughed up to grow crops.
