We are indebted to Chris Buckler (nee Clement) and Judith Smith (nee Childs) for getting this photo to us and supplying so many names, and also to Sue Taylor (nee Pinnock) and Anne Hull (nee Papworth) for confirming some queried names and adding new ones. We are told that the year is 1955-6 and that this is the class of Miss Irene Laux (who became Mrs Bithray). The children in the photo are in their second year at school. Thanks to David Bithray (Miss Laux's son) the list of names was completed in December 2015.
