The Will of John Rimell, late Coachman

The Will of John Rimell

In the name of God Amen. I John Rimell aged thirty one years of the parish of Burton Latimer County of Northampton and late Coachman to John Collott Esquire No. 7 Belgrave Street Belgrave Square London being of infirm and declining health but in full possession of my mental powers do hereby declare my last will and testament to wit- that I give and bequeath to my wife Sophia Rimell all property in money goods and chattles of whatever kind whereof I may be possessed or to which I have any right or claim and further I do hereby appoint my said wife Sophia Rimel to be the sole Executrix of this my said will. Witness my hand this twenty fourth day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven (Signed) _ John Rimell _ Witnesses – William Henry Henslowe M.A. -Off-Min:- Joseph Paine – William Bird.
Proved at London 26th January 1843 before the Worshipful Frederic Thomas Pratt Doctor of Law and Surrogate by the oath of Sophia Rimell (in the will written Rimel) widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom administration was granted having been first sworn only to administer.
