Mr. Herbert (Bert) Dunmore, a former director of Whitney and Westley Ltd., the Burton Latimer boot manufacturers, died early this morning. He was 65.

Mr. Dunmore, of 47 Finedon Road, Burton Latimer, retired from Whitney and Westley three months ago after 44 years with the firm. He had spent 52 years in the shoe trade.

He was a member of the Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire Institute of Directors, a Freemason, and was on the board of governors of Kettering Technical College. He was also a member of Kettering Golf Club.

Mr. Dunmore leaves a widow and a brother.
