This photograph appeared in the local press about 1930. It shows those taking part in the Burton Latimer Feast Week cricket match, held annually between a local team and the Northants Club and Ground. In this particular game the Burton team achieved a splendid victory, the visitors' score of 137 being almost reached with the loss of one wicket. Burton eventually won by four runs with three wickets in hand.
