A skate ramp has been completed ahead of schedule. A half pipe at King George V Recreation Ground in Burton Latimer will be installed by tomorrow.  It has been installed just in time for the town's annual festive celebrations and Christmas lights switch-on tomor­row night.

Kettering Council has been working in partnership with Burton Latimer Town Council to improve the footpaths and car parking areas at the ground as well as putting in the ramp.

Chairman of Burton Latimer Town Council, Fergus Macdpnald, said: "The half pipe is what many of the young people have been requesting for a long time. We are hoping that they will fully appre­ciate it and that we can look to provide further facilities in the future."
