AN ONLY SON TAKEN - Information has been received that Corporal Frederick Charles West, Northants Regt., died of wounds on on July 20th. Corpl. West was the only son of Mr. William West, of Burton Latimer, of which place the deceased soldier was a native, and attained his 22nd birthday last March. He had been a soldier for nearly six years, and had visited India, Malta, and Egypt, from which place his regiment went to France.
