The original farmhouse dates from the 18th century and the property was split into two separate parts for the use of farm labourers. It was later rejoined into one building, purchased by Charles Barlow and occupied by his farm bailiff, Mr Hollingsworth and his wife. It eventually became Barlows Stores. In 1906 Charles Gossage was the dairyman and it was occupied by the Meads family and operated as a dairy from 1914 until the business closed in 1995. The premises then became a private residence. It is currently the offices and stores of Griffiths Air Conditioning.
